A DETAILED HISTORY OF COMPUTERS IS DESCRIBED BELOW :
History of Computers: -
The first computer of the world is said to be the abacus which was in used in Asia Minor People before 5000 BC, it uses sliding beads on rack for calculations.
In the early 17th century a computer was designed called Napier’s Bone by John Napier, it was used to multiply two numbers at a time.
In 1642 a French mathematician Blaise Pascal invented the first functional automatic calculator called Pascaline; it is used to add up to eight digits.
Later in 1964 a German Philosopher and mathematician called Gottfried Leibniz improved Pascaline and made it work for multiplication.
The real beginning of computers was really laid by an English mathematician prof called Charles Babbage in 1822 he developed a machine called “Difference Engine”.
Again in 1833 he developed another machine called “Analytical Engine”.
